CTR2

Details
Produced on licence from Lynovation these are constructed by myself and dispatched from the UK. These are assembled 'ready to use', turnkey units.
I currently offer the CTR2-Dial and CTR2-Flex as well as a battery add-on (only) for the CTR2-MIDI and CTR2-Micro.
CTR2-Dial and CTR2-Flex
As of the latest firmware these are dual-bootable devices so if you do run a FlexRadio you can make use of the CTR2-Flex firmware.
Which should I order?
The only difference between the two is that if you're a CW OP using a FlexRadio, the hardware is slightly different, incorporating a small piezo speaker for local sidetone.
FAQ
Question | Answer |
Are the encoders "detent" or "no detent"? | Encoders used in the CTR2-Flex and CTR2-Dial builds are "no detent". |
How can I use an external PTT switch with the CTR2-Flex / CTR2-Dial? |
I'll be offering a PTT button based on the Turret Mic design soon. CTR2-Flex Set the Keyer Type to Passthru. In that setting the Tip/Shield on the Paddle Input jack keys the CW carrier and the Ring/Shield keys MOX (voice PTT). If your PTT switch is wired to Tip/Shield just reverse the paddles. Change the Pdl In: setting to 98/99 and set the PTT Ctrl: to 99 and map the app to key MOX or PTT on MIDI 99. |
Is the CTR2-MIDI or CTR2-Micro supplied with the battery add-on? |
No, but these are available from Lynn at Lynovation: CTR2-MIDI and CTR2-Micro. |
