With thanks to Adam, K6ARK for permission to reproduce and sell this. I'm pleased to offer a kit and pre-built (coming soon) versions of this super-compact microphone.
This listing is for the kit which includes all the parts you need to build it yourself, along with a 50cm cable. The enclosure is a high quality print in PETG.
As always this design is available to download from Printables, should you want to print it yourself. The design is not permitted for commercial reproduction without explicit permission.
Which element?
The -24dB element is recommended for the QRP Labs QMX range as well as the HF Signals zBitx and sBitx. It can be used in other radios but the standard mic is more than capable for those. Please select the option to purchase both if you'd prefer.
Background
The QMX, (tr)uSDX and Elecraft KX2 and KX3 are fantastic portable radios, but the microphone for the KX2/KX3 is relatively big and heavy and there really is no good mic option for the (tr)uSDX or QMX (with its new SSB firmware).
At 41mm long by 14mm thick and wide, this mic easily tucks into your kit as a primary or backup.
